Roots Blower Repair Pricing
At pdblowers, we repair and service all brands that we distribute as well as most others in the market. When you send your positive displacement blower to pdblowers, we disassemble and inspect the unit and provide you with a quote for the labor and parts required to make it like new. Once approval is received to proceed, we then rebuild the unit to factory tolerances, including any required machining. Painting the unit, cleaning the head plates and bead blasting of impellers and cylinders are all included in the price of the repair, along with a 12 month warranty from pdblowers.
Standard Blower Repair
The repair needs for your specific blower will be determined during its inspection, however for your reference we have included example pricing below for a standard repair of the most common Roots blower models. A standard repair utilizes standard repair kits from Roots® and includes the following:
- Teardown of blower unit
- Cleaning of head plates
- Bead blasting of impellers and cylinders
- Replacement of bearings, seals & gaskets with Roots® original parts
- Rebuild to factory tolerances
- Mechanical testing of larger units
- Painting
- 12/18 pdblowers warranty
Sample Pricing
After your blower is inspected, pdblowers will provide a quote for the labor and parts required to make it like new. A standard repair, described above, typically costs between 35-55% of the unit replacement cost.
